January is 'Get Organized' month. What are you waiting for?

Overland Park, KS., December 23, 2006 – There are several holidays listed in Chase's Calendar of Events. But this one is one of the most popular. January is Get Organized month.And as if that weren't enough, the first Monday in January is 'Clean off Your Desk' day. This holiday was created by a journalist who needed to do just that...find the top of his desk.

For several years, Get Organized WEEK was designated the first week in October. But 3 years ago the National Association of Professional Organizers (www.napo.net) changed the date to January and proclaimed an entire month of celebration.

"It makes more sense to have this holiday in January.
